Not that I disliked the movie, but as of now I don't considerable myself among that group; but who knows, a couple of viewings hence I might as well join you :)Shubhajithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02040495040897333606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2017832040275963428.post-82201778326982207632011-07-17T23:50:43.325+05:302011-07-17T23:50:43.325+05:30I think I rate 12 monkeys higher than you do, the ...I think I rate 12 monkeys higher than you do, the haunting music, the atmosphere, as you say the powerful ending about fate/free will. I couldn't find much to fault really. <br />I didn't notice the plot being weak, I'm probably one of the cult followers who is blind to the flaws ( :Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09395044055566348346noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2017832040275963428.post-73759814026664193472011-07-15T01:25:11.992+05:302011-07-15T01:25:11.992+05:30Thanks Sam. Yes, though a genre film, the ambiguities presented and especially the open ending sure added depths to the film.Shubhajithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02040495040897333606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2017832040275963428.post-19444899826561977872011-07-15T01:08:31.380+05:302011-07-15T01:08:31.380+05:30This is far from a 'great' film, as you no...This is far from a 'great' film, as you note late in this sterling capsule, but I'll agree with you that it's memorable, and has developed a cult following. It's a genre piece that overlaps into serious themes, like the one on madeness you well dissect here. I do believe it spawned other features with the dystopian theme as well.Sam Julianonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2017832040275963428.post-23560811622945178792011-07-14T11:54:08.412+05:302011-07-14T11:54:08.412+05:30Maybe because it is ultra-serious & intense, i...Maybe because it is ultra-serious & intense, instead of being satirical or darkly comic :)Shubhajithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02040495040897333606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2017832040275963428.post-56781553394165679592011-07-14T11:26:46.071+05:302011-07-14T11:26:46.071+05:30I loved this movie.
